Dr. Julie Konowitz-Sirkin, M.D., FAAP is a board certified pediatrician. Along with Dr. Barbara Chamberlain they opened the doors to J.F.K. Pediatrics, Inc. in 2006. She completed undergraduate degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 1995, and earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in 1999. Dr. Konowitz-Sirkin has been a Medical Doctor (M.D.) since 1999. After graduation from medical school she completed her pediatric residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York in 2002. She has two children (1 son, and 1 daughter.) Currently she participates in several classes located on the Bethesda Hospital (East & West) Campuses. Some of these classes include newborn teaching, vaccine safety, and prenatal classes. Dr. Konowitz-Sirkin speaks English & Spanish. She has held privileges at Bethesda Memorial Hospital since 2002. She is an Affiliate Clinical Courtesy Faculty Member of University of Florida College of Medicine.

Dr. Barbara Chamberlain, M.D., FAAP is a board certified pediatrician. Alongside Dr. Julie Konowitz-Sirkin they opened the doors to J.F.K. Pediatrics, Inc. in 2006. She completed undergrad at University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1982, and earned her medical degree from University of Florida College of Medicine in 1986. Dr. Chamberlain has been a Medical Doctor (M.D.) since 1986. After graduation from medical school she completed her pediatric residency at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida in 1989. She has two children (2 daughters.) She is an Affiliate Clinical Courtesy Faculty Member of University of Florida College of Medicine.

Dr. Petra McEwan, M.D., FAAP is a board certified pediatrician. She joined J.F.K Pediatrics, Inc. in 2015. She completed undergrad at University of Florida in 2005 and earned her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009. Dr. McEwan has been a Medical Doctor (M.D.) since 2009. After graduation from medical school she completed her pediatric residency at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida in 2012. She has five children (3 daughters, and 2 sons.) She currently holds privileges at West Boca Medical Center.

Dr. Heather Valery, DO is a board certified pediatrician. She joined J.F.K. Pediatrics in 2021. Dr. Valery completed her undergraduate studies at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX in 2010 and graduated from Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. She completed her pediatric residency training at Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, FL in 2018. In her free time, Dr. Valery enjoys spending time with her family, creative writing, playing guitar, and surfing. She currently holds privileges at Bethesda Memorial Hospital.

Sally Benitez, FNP-BC is a Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined J.F.K Pediatrics, Inc. in 2016. She completed undergrad at Washington Adventist University in 1999, and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2007 at Barry University. Sally has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2007. She has four children (3 daughters, and 1 son.) Sally speaks fluent English and Spanish. She currently holds privileges at Bethesda Memorial Hospital.

Angela Richardson is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined J.F.K. Pediatrics in 2024 after working as a nurse in the neonatal ICU for several years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology and Biology from Florida Atlantic University before getting a Master of Science degree for Advanced Practice Nursing from South University.

Marilyn Barnett, FNP-BC is a Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined J.F.K. Pediatrics, Inc. in 2020. She completed undergrad at Nova Southeastern University in 2006, and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2016 at Nova Southeastern University as well. Marilyn has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2016. Marilyn speaks fluent English and Spanish. She currently holds privileges at Bethesda Memorial Hospital.

Carlee Lakeman, CPNP is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She joined J.F.K. Pediatrics in 2022. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in 2014 and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2021. Carlee has three children (2 daughters and 1 son). When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and close friends and reading. She currently holds privileges at Bethesda Hospital East.

Ruth Saint Hurbain, DNP, FNP-BC, MSNA is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined J.F.K. Pediatrics in 2022 after working as a registered nurse for several years. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at South University in 2018, a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2020 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice: Family Nurse Practitioner from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2022. Ruth speaks fluent Creole. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her children. She currently holds privileges at Bethesda Hospital East.
